Privacy policy

agalit.com

Last updated: August 23, 2026

This policy covers this website: what happens when you read it. It does not cover the shopping assistant a shopper talks to inside a retailer’s storefront. That is a different reader, different data and a different set of hands, and it has its own notice, linked at the foot of this page.

What we collect when you read this site

Nothing you have to give us, because there is nothing here to fill in. Every way of contacting us is an email address, not a form.

  • No analytics. There is no measurement script, tag manager or third-party script of any kind on these pages.
  • No advertising identifiers, no tracking pixels, no social buttons that report back.
  • Our host keeps ordinary server records of requests, including the network address they came from, the time, the page and the browser’s own description of itself. They exist so the site can be kept running and defended, and we do not use them to build a picture of anyone.

Cookies

One, and only if you sign in. It is called sp_demo_session, it is what keeps you signed in to a demonstration, and it does nothing else. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party cookies on this site, so there is nothing here for a consent banner to ask you about.

The accessibility settings you choose

Text size, contrast, underlined links and stopped animation are kept in your own browser’s local storage under the name agalit-a11y. They stay on your device, they are not a cookie, and they are never sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.

If you write to us

Your message reaches our inbox with whatever your own mail program puts in it: your address, your name if it is set, and what you wrote. We keep it while we are answering you and afterwards as a record of the exchange, and we do not add it to any mailing list.

Who handles data on our behalf

  • Vercel: hosting for this site and the server records described above.
  • Our email provider, for messages you send us.

How long any of it is kept

Server records are kept for the short period our host retains them for operational and security purposes. Correspondence is kept for as long as the conversation, or a record of it, is needed, and it is deleted on request.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Write to the address below and we will answer within 30 days.

Changes

The date at the top of this page is when the substance of this policy last changed. We bump it when a claim changes, not when a translation lands.

Questions, or a deletion request

Write to info@agalit.com and a person will answer.
